Cultural Tip
Israelis value directness and won't find personal questions offensive - age, salary, and relationships are fair game in conversation. The word 'achi' (אחי - my brother) is used casually between men as 'dude' or 'buddy.' The phrase 'Nu?' (nu - well? / so?) is uniquely Israeli and very common.
