Israel's public transport is efficient in cities. The Rav-Kav card (כרטיס רב-קו) works on most buses and trains - get one at the airport or central bus station. Sheruts (shared taxis) run fixed routes and are cheaper than regular taxis. Uber/Gett work well in major cities.
